Why another Database Cleaner?

While other database cleaners are available, my experience with them revealed areas for improvement, like outdated UIs, incomplete features, and limited data analysis capabilities. Most notably, they struggled with large databases. Motivated by these challenges, I developed my own solution. Now, I’m dedicated to refining it to suit all types of WordPress and databases, aiming to make it the best for everyone.

I’m open to feedback and would be thrilled to discuss how Database Cleaner can better meet your needs. Let’s chat and enhance this tool together!

makes it super easy to get rid of all that extra junk floating around!

I have been in IT Management, Development, and Consulting for over 40 years in 7 states. I was a Federal Manager of 16 years. I am very reserved regarding leaving reviews. So, with that said, this is an outstanding product. I’ve use the paid version for 2 years now on 3 sites. The number of incidents and issues experienced are zero. However, with best practices, I do make full backups prior to manually selecting some potential deletions of data or tables. I am comfortable with it’s manually tapping the auto-clean process without a manual backup; however, I do have automatic periodic backups scheduled just the same. It’s empowered me to manually select and delete dozens of tables over these 2 years and literally thousands of records. There is a ton of “crap” (tech term for unknowns) left behind from uninstalled plugins that claim to remove data upon deletion. Some remove the data but leave their empty records, tables, and auto-running options behind. Also, I appreciate the ability to sort by any unknown tables or partial names. I love the feature of size sorting any actively running options that consume resources for investigation. Use this powerful plugin responsibly. I’ve found it’s always needed after changing SEO plugins, which involves about 8-12% of old stored data, tables, or empty recordsets behind. I highly recommend it for those who are reasonably skilled and seeking an improvement in performance.

This software is great for cleaning up your database + cleaning up cron jobs. A lot of my website projects are clones of previous projects and use custom post types and plugins. Overtime, custom post types are deleted, plugins are removed and this leaves a mess of extra tables, data and crons. This plugin makes it super easy to remove this unwanted data and lets you organize the entries by name, size and date whech really helps figure what belongs to what. A lot of the plugins are identified to let you know where the data came from and even has an option to report which plugin created the data. This has worked great so far and has been really fast to process on my cleaning tasks. I am not tested for huge databases but Im sure it can handle it just fine. Thank You !

I used this and Media Cleaner Pro on a website which had been rebuilt a few times with a huge product library. Currently running on a custom Divi / Elegant Themes with lots of third party plugins, it was showing its age. It has now been 2 months since we ran both the cleaners and the website is running smoothly and providing everything we had hoped for. Big thanks to the Meow team for providing these plugins, they’ve helped me repair 6 massive WordPress builds.
