Picgrab is a plugin that download, resize and crop an image on the fly.
\nSimply add the \u201cresize\u201d attribute in the img tag you want to grab & resize on your post.<\/p>\n\n

E.g.\n<img src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3532\/3243887563_700849f242.jpg\" resize=\"402\u00d7200c;66y\" \/>\nOnce activated, the plugin replaces the attribute \u201csrc\u201d on img tags containing the \"resize\" attribute with something like:<\/p>\n\n

http:\/\/yoursite\/wp-content\/plugins\/picgrab\/resize.php?url=<coded characters>&size=<coded characters>\nand removes the \"resize\" attribute.<\/p>\n\n

The resize.php script included with plugin does the work to grab, crop and resize the image.\nIt also manages the cache.\nThe resize attribute format is:<\/p>\n\n

PicGrab require Php version >=8, gd and curl libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Unzip into your \/wp-content\/plugins\/ directory. If you're uploading it make sure to upload the top-level folder. Don't just upload all the php files and put them in \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. make sure picgrab\/picscache folder is writable by all ( 777 permission )<\/li>\n
