No special action needs to be taken to upgrade. Tabulate can be deactivated and\nreactivated without losing any data; if uninstalled, it will remove everything\nthat it's added (but you will be warned before this happens, don't worry).<\/p>\n\n

This plugin provides a simple user-friendly interface to tables in your database.\nSomewhat akin to phpMyAdmin, but easier to use and more focused on end users.<\/p>\n\n

Features (in no particular order):<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  1. Tables can be filtered by any column or columns, and with a range of\noperators ('contains', 'is', 'empty', 'one of', 'greater than', 'less than',\nand the negations of all of these). Multiple filters are conjunctive\n(i.e. with a logical and<\/em>).<\/li>\n
  2. Access can be granted to read<\/em>, create<\/em>, update<\/em>, delete<\/em>, and import<\/em>\nrecords in any or all tables. (This can be done by anyone with the\npromote_users<\/em> capability.) Access can also be granted to anonymous users<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  3. CSV data can be imported, with the UI supporting column mapping, data\nvalidation, and previewing prior to final import. If an imported row has a\nvalue for the Primary Key, the existing row will be overwritten.<\/li>\n
  4. Data can be exported to CSV, including after filters have been applied. <\/li>\n
  5. A quick-jump navigation box is located top right of every page,\nand can also be added as a Dashboard widget.<\/li>\n
  6. Records in tables with date<\/em> columns can be viewed in a calendar.<\/li>\n
  7. Entity Relationship Diagrams (drawn with GraphViz<\/a>)\ncan be automatically generated, with any specified subset of tables. Foreign\nkeys are displayed as directed edges. This feature is only available if the\nTFO Graphviz plugin<\/a> is installed.<\/li>\n
  8. All data modifications are recorded, along with optional comments that users\ncan provide when updating data.<\/li>\n
  9. The [tabulate]<\/code> shortcode can be used to embed tables, lists, row-counts,\nand data-entry forms into WordPress content. For more details,\nread the documentation<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  10. Tables with point<\/em> columns can be exported to KML and OpenStreetMap XML.\nAlso, data entry for these columns is done with a small slippy map, on which\na marker can be placed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
