Woo Force Coupon

Description

If you want to make coupon code as a required field, this plugin will help.

During checkout when a customer will try to place an order without entering any coupon code, checkout process will be interrupted and customer will see an error notice.

You can configure the error notice text from “WooCommerce>Force Coupon” menu from admin panel.

  • From admin panel, Click on “WooCommerce>Force Coupon” to visit the plugin settings page.
  • In checkout page, when users will place an order without entering any coupon code, they’ll see an error notice.

Installation

From your WordPress dashboard

  1. Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
  2. Search for ‘Woo Force Coupon’
  3. Activate ‘Woo Force Coupon’ from your Plugins page.

From WordPress.org

  1. Download ‘Woo Force Coupon’.
  2. Upload the ‘woo-force-coupon’ folder to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
  3. Activate ‘Woo Force Coupon’ from your Plugins page.

After that you can configure the plugin settings from “WooCommerce>Force Coupon” menu from admin panel.

I used this on a site selling tickets and when they sold out, people with coupons still needed the ability to redeem their tickets. This plugin did the job and I had it working with a couple of minutes. There are 2 fields to fill in and one requires a link to a coupon input; I simply used the link to the cart. Works great. I will definitely use this again if the need arises. Thanks for sharing your plugin! PK
