Installation
– Install this plugin to your WordPress website.
– Copy your chatbot ID from ChatNode bot’s “Settings” tab.
– Navigate to the “ChatNode” tab under the “Settings” menu in your WordPress dashboard.
– Paste your Chatbot ID into the designated field.
– Click “Save Changes”.

Yes, you need to create an account on ChatNode.ai to generate your chatbot and retrieve the bot ID for embedding.

Where can I get my Chatbot ID?

Log in to your ChatNode dashboard and copy it from the “Settings” tab of your bot.

Will this plugin slow down my website?

No. The chatbot script is loaded asynchronously from ChatNode’s servers, so it won’t block or delay the rest of your website from loading.

Customization options are handled through your ChatNode dashboard. You can change colors, avatar, welcome message, and more from there.

Currently, this plugin automatically embeds the chatbot site-wide. Future updates may add shortcode and block support for more flexibility.
